Drove to Portland OR, arriving at the hotel at 5 pm. Free drinks and soup and salad at the Manager's Happy Hour, so we indulged and added a pizza.
Headed down to Old Town to wander around. Stopped at "Fat Head's Pub" for beer flights and cider flights and frickles (deep fried sliced bread and butter pickles). Came back to the hotel for the pool. I bawled Olivia out for running into the pool, shedding her clothes and diving in without waiting for an adult - Arielle had taken Lola up to the room to get her bathing suit.
After changing, Gord walked down to their room to see about getting together for a nightcap. Lola jumped on him and demanded to come to our room for leftover pizza! So they did!
